PROGRAM
The Healing Adventure is a social, cultural and therapeutic program created by TVOC Network, meant to decrease stigma in vulnerable communities and increase mental health awareness, skills, and resiliency. #MaddestLife
The Healing Adventure program focuses on teaching mental health from a cultural perspective, communication and coping skills, mental resiliency, and strategies for self-growth. It can be adapted to be a month, half month, week, or full day program in workshops, camps, retreats, conferences, or classroom settings.

I am Jamaican, currently living in South Florida. I am a Professor and I run a private practice offering therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I am currently finishing up my PhD in couples and family therapy at Nova. And my research explores the lived experiences of Afro-Caribbean men who are in polyamorous relationships. My aim is to continue research of both men and women in the Caribbean who practice Polyamory or other forms of consensual non-monogamy.

I bring a deeply grounded perspective on equity, intersectionality and neurodiversity in my work to destigmatize mental health within the Black community as co-director of Black Mental Health Connections Montreal.
