A little ABOUT THE NeTWORK
WHO
TVOC Network stands for The Voice of Community. We are a collaborative coalition of individuals, community groups, local businesses, and professional associations. We come together as a collective for one purpose: helping our community, locally and abroad.
WHAT
TVOC Network is a community organization committed to unifying and uplifting the Black diaspora. We come together to create, execute, and complete projects related to charity, socio-educational programs, real estate development, agriculture, wellness tourism, media, social events, video production, and professional networking.
WHERE & WHEN
TVOC Network was founded in Toronto, Canada in April 2019, influenced by the passing of Nipsey Hussle. Since then, we have grown exponentially. The network is currently working on developing connections and programs in the Caribbean, and expansion throughout North America. As our community continues to grow globally, we project expansion into all continents by 2030. Wherever the diaspora is, we have the responsibility to go.
WHY
TVOC Network began when our founder noticed the challenges in how our community interacts with each other. This issue comes from the generational trauma of Black social history. The Black community, being so resilient in survival mode, became convinced there is no room to be vulnerable with each other. This lack of vulnerability left no room for authentic voices to shine through, creating a breakdown in the communication and relationships of our people. This has lead to devastating societal impacts. To combat the pressures this has placed on the diaspora, TVOC Network focused on one overarching goal: the restoration of our community and the voices within it. In targeting this outcome a domino effect ensued resulting in a coalition of like-minded supporters coming together. We now have connections all over the globe, in all disciplines, working together strategically for the common good of our community.
Together, we form The Voice of Community.
